Advanced Wireless Power Transfer System
The idea is to transfer power wirelessly between two circuits. The transmitter circuit is made of a high-frequency inverter & a transformer. The receiver is made of a rectifier to convert the HF AC into DC to run a DC load. The transfer of power between the circuits is done using air-core transformer i.e. separate winding with each circuit.
Clap Switch Circuit Electronic Project Using 555 Timer
It is a mini fun project in which you can design a circuit that switches the appliances like light or fan ON/OFF by clapping. The clap sound is converted into a weak signal using a microphone (transducer) that is amplified to trigger the 555 timer IC.

The Arduino is used to control the servo motor that continuously rotates the ultrasonic sensor. When the sensor senses an object, the Arduino calculates the distance and the angle from the servo rotation & displays it on LCD.
Generation of HVDC from Voltage Multiplier Using Marx Generator:
Marx generator is a voltage multiplier circuit that generates high voltage DC using capacitors & diode with MOSFETs. The high voltage generated is usually used for insulation testing in industries.
Simple 100W Inverter
In this project, we are going to convert the 12v DC into 220v AC. The inversion is done using an astable multivibrator chip that switches two MOSFET to switch the 12v polarity. This alternating 12v is converted into 220v using a step-up transformer.
High Voltage Generation by using Cockcroft-Walton Multiplier:
Cockcroft-Walton multiplier is used for generating high voltage DC using low voltage AC. This project uses simple components such as diodes and capacitors in multiple stages to multiply the input voltage.
Remote Operated Alarm Circuit
This is a wireless remote-operated alarm system that is triggered to notify somebody for their help. It uses an IR sensor to detect & pass the signal to a 555 timer to trigger the buzzer or light etc.
Time Delay Based Relay Operated Load
In this project, we are proposing the idea to provide a time delay before switching on the supply to the appliance connected. It uses a 555 timer to provide delay which can be modified through biasing resistors.
AC Power Control using MOSFET / IGBT:
The aim of this project is to control the AC power supply to the appliances using PWM. An Arduino is used for generating pulses of variable duty cycle to switch power MOSFET / IGBT that is connected with the load.
Temperature Controlled System:
The aim of this project is to control the temperature of a system by switching a fan or controlling its speed. It uses a temperature sensor to sense the temperature. Once the temperature increases the threshold the fan starts & increases the speed when the temperature increases.
Microcontroller Based AC Power Controller of single-phase inverter
The idea behind this project is to control the AC power supplied to the load in an inverter using PWM (Pulse width modulation). We use a microcontroller to produce a variable duty cycle pulse width for switching the MOSFETs to vary the power supplied from the DC source.
Programmable Load Shedding:
It is an automatic load shedding system that switches ON/OFF the power supply at a specific time for a predefined duration. The time is provided by an RTC chip that is connected to the microcontroller that is also displayed with the status of the load shedding.
Cordless Power Controller
Cordless Power Controller is a remote control that uses a cordless telephone to control power supplied to home appliances. By connecting CPC to the telephone line, we can control our home appliances such as fans, lights & other electronics, etc. using the DTMF tone of a cordless phone.
Frequency Counter Circuit:
In this project, we are going to use a microcontroller to measure the frequency of a square wave signal. The microcontroller will count the number of pulses for the duration of one second which is the frequency of the signal.
Variable Power Supply Circuits:
The aim of this project is to make a power supply that provides a variable output voltage. Unlike fixed power supplies these circuits use a variable voltage regulator whose output can be varied using proper biasing with a variable resistor.
Auto Night Lamp Using LDR & Op-Amp
The aim of this project is to automate a lamp that turns on automatically at night & turn off at dawn. It uses an LDR which is connected with an operational amplifier that operates as a comparator. When the light intensity is decreased the LDR resistance increases & switches the comparator output to turn on the Lamp.
Automatic Night Lamp Using Arduino
In this project, we are going to use an Arduino to switch a lamp ON through a relay at night time. We are going to use an LDR to sense the intensity of light which will be read by the Arduino.
Water Level Indicator Circuit Diagram- Two Simple Projects
It is a very simple project design to indicate the water level & also sounding alarm once the water tank is completely full. This device is capable of eliminating the manual method of checking water levels of the tanks at a regular time interval.

Digital Voltmeter Circuit using ICL7107
The ICL7107 is an ADC (analog to digital converter) that provide an output which can be directly connected to 7 segment display without any display drivers. All you need is to connect the LED displays to its corresponding output pin & it will display the converted analog voltage.
Celsius Scale Thermometer using Microcontroller:
The project’s purpose is to measure the temperature of its surroundings on the Celsius scale. It uses a temperature sensor LM35 which generates a voltage corresponding to the temperature. The LM35 output is converted to digital using ADC & then fed to the microcontroller. The temperature is then displayed using an LCD.
Speed Control of DC Fan based on Temperature
The aim of this project is to control the speed of the DC motor based on the temperature level. A temperature sensor will sense & provide the data to the microcontroller through ADC. The microcontroller will control the speed of motor depending on the temperature i.e. increase speed with an increase in temperature.
Simple Battery Level Indicator
This is a simple project that shows the battery status of the charge. It measures the voltage which is compared with predefined values to turn on the LEDs corresponding to the level of charge.
Bidirectional Photoelectric System
The aim of this project is to detect the people entering or leaving a building or room. The system counts the number of people inside the building & it can be used to activate specific appliances in a room according to the number of people.
Self-Powered Door Bell Watcher
This project serves the purpose of notifying the owner if someone rung their doorbell when they were not at home. The circuit incorporates a capacitor that stores charge & release through an LED (an indication) using a pushbutton.
Wireless Switch Circuit using LDR
In this project, we are going to switch any appliances using an LDR (light dependent resistor). The LDR will be able to trigger the T flip-flop to toggle its state whenever someone covers it. The flip-flip will switch the relay where the load is connected.
Fridge Door Alarm
The purpose of this project is to notify the owner when the fridge door remains open as it can increase the temperature inside & also increase power loss. The circuit operates on LDR (light dependent resistor) with 555 Timer IC that will trigger the buzzer when light falls on LDR.
Infra-red Level Detector
This project’s purpose is to detect the level of liquid inside a container using infrared sensors. It uses 555 Timer IC to trigger IR diode whose output rays are then received by IR photodiode after reflection. A comparator is used to compare the receiving signal with a preset value to show the level of liquid using an LED.
Wireless AC Power Detector Project
This circuit can detect AC current flow in a wire. The idea is to use a decade counter whose clock is connected to an antenna (a coil) & use a single output of the counter to power a buzzer through a transistor. Another idea is to use a Darlington pair transistor with an antenna to amplify the signal & power the buzzer.
Flashing Beacon
The purpose of this project is to make a flashing light circuit that can be used on highways as a distress signal or for providing direction to a hospital, hotels, etc. it uses an adjustable voltage regulator with a capacitor that charges & discharge to blink the light.
Light Fence Alarm
The aim of this project is to trigger an alarm if someone trespass any restricted area. The circuit uses an LED to throw light upon a photo-transistor. As soon as anything crosses the light path, the alarm such as buzzer with light is triggered.
Digital Real-Time Clock using microcontroller
The aim of this project is to display real-time without the use of synchronizing manually. It uses an RTC (real time clock) IC to provide current time to microcontroller & display it using LCD with the current date. It can also be equipped with an alarm option to sound a buzzer on a fixed time.
Auto Turnoff Soldering Iron Circuit
This circuit is used for switching the solder off when the temperature gets too high to prevent any damage. It uses a thermistor that has a negative temperature coefficient to sense the high temperature & switch off the solder through a relay.
Short Circuit Indicator Project
This circuit can detect a short circuit in a DC load & trip the power supply to the load. As soon as the load terminals are shorted, the buzzer or LED switches on through the transistor to notify the person.
Bidirectional Rotation of an Induction Motor with a Remote Control Device
The idea is to use an IR remote to switch the direction of the induction motor wirelessly. The IR sensor feds the data to the microcontroller that changes the direction of the induction motor by switching the relay.
Traffic Light Control Electronic Project using IC 4017 & 555 Timer
It is a mini-project that resembles the traffic light control. This circuit control red, yellow & green color LEDs using a 555 timer through a decade counter. And off course to provide different time duration to each signal.
Up & Down Counter:
This is a mini project that counts up & down using a microcontroller. There are two push buttons that increment & decrement the count number which is to be displayed using a 7 segment display or an LCD.
Ultrasonic Based Distance Measurement System
In this project, an ultrasonic sensor is used to find the distance an object & show it on an LCD. The sensor uses a burst of ultrasonic rays that bounce back from the object. We will use a microcontroller to calculate the distance by using the speed of ultrasonic rays & the time taken by the rays to travel back from the object.
Float cum Boost Charger
This charger has two modes float charger & boost charger. The float charging mode is used for keeping the battery from discharging & also supplying a DC load. While the boost charging mode is used for charging a drained battery.
This is a simple circuit made from a thermistor whose resistance changes with the temperature. The increase in temperature decreases the resistance of thermistor which will switch on a Buzzer connected with a transistor.
Light Activated Switch Circuit
In this project, we are going to make a switch that is activated by light to turn on or OFF electrical appliances. We are going to use an LDR (Light dependent resistor) whose resistance varies with light to switch a transistor.
Power Failure Indicator
This project’s aim is to sound a buzzer or switch light when a power supply for any device is stopped. The idea is to use a relay that switches the circuit on when there is a power failure. The circuit is made of buzzer and LEDs that activate & notify the owner.
Rain Alarm Circuit – Snow, Water, and Rain Detector Project
This project detects the rain by sounding an alarm while you are sitting inside the home. It uses a rain sensor to detect the raindrop which then triggers a 555 timer IC to sound the buzzer. It is a very cheap & efficient project.
DC to DC Voltage (Doubler) Converter:
This project is a DC to DC converter that multiplies the input voltage by two. It can be made from various components. Such as a 555 Timer IC in astable mode to switch a transistor as in boost converters. Another method is to use LM2577-ADJ IC that provides variable step-up output.
Stun Gun Circuit
A stun gun is a device that generates a high voltage across two terminals that creates an arc. It can be done by using a voltage multiplier circuit with multiple stages. Each stage consists of a diode & a capacitor. A 555 time IC in astable mode will provide a pulsating input through a transformer.
Electric Power from Wind Mill
This is a simple windmill project made of a turbine attached to the rotor of a motor to generate electricity. The power generated is regulated using circuits to power specific load such as LEDs.
